CNN announced that it will end its broadcast on January 31st at midnight EST.

It was previously understood that CNN would terminate its broadcast just after Biden inauguration on January 21st: however this was postponed as the new President needs some extra nine days to fix the world.

“Whatever we declared remains valid -said Ken Jautz, executive vice president of CNN-US – we just didn’t expect the president to be so slow in solving the pandemic and reversing Climate Change. We will run a continuous Special Edition newscast to cover the developments, while on-screen thermometers will show the gradual decrease of average temperatures in key geographies.”

Last year, the channel came under fire for airing a “Previously on Anderson Cooper” show instead of showing what was airing.

According to CNN’s website, the channel will air 10 new episodes of “I Love You… I Hate You, one new episode per day; I Love You will run on CNN International, CNN En Espanol, CNN Arabia, CNN Newsource, and CNN Philippines until January 31st.

Turner Classic Movies will take over all of CNN channels on February 1st, opening with the classic movie “I Love You Again” by W.S. Van Dyke; the CNN website will no longer have any news articles. Instead, the site will house classic movies, CNN reports.
